The work the Lord has called us to isn’t easy and requires courage. We find that empowerment as we lean into the Lord through time in His Word, prayer, fellowship, and walking in faith and obedience. We need God’s empowerment in order to do God’s will. In our own strength, we cannot give, love, serve, or tell our story as we should. Hebrews 4:16 tells us, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” This is a good reminder that Jesus calls His people to a life that is beyond their abilities. 1 Peter 4:11 Trusting in God’s strength makes all the difference To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
